I may be a kid, but I want to help my friend fight his Cancer. He has something called Osteosarcoma, and it made his legs sick. He had to have one of them taken off in October, right before my birthday.
My mom is helping me come up with ideas to raise money to pay the hospital bills and also for Sam's new leg.
I am going to do a bike-a-thon and my mom is going to have a scrapbooking party (she's calling it Scrapping for Sam). We have also made a chip-in to raise funds.
I read about a boy my age in England that rode his bike trying to raise $500 for Haiti and ended up raising over $160,000!! I want to do that to help my friend. Will you help me? If you would send just $1, I bet we could do it!
