The story about the lady that paddled with the whale was on yahoo.com .  Here is a link to her blog: http://paddlewithpurpose.wordpress.com/2010/04/02/yahoo-front-page/  Zach donated in Sam's name rather than his own and listed his blog.  One wonderful person came through the donation site and added to Zachary's fund raiser.  Bless you!

I am working to find the safest route to accomplish what my very determined young man would like to do.  We are proud of both boys.  Samuel has been incredibly brave and determined!  Whenever our son is faced with pain or trial he always mentions how brave Sam is and how he is going to be brave too.

I hesitated leaving in the reference to the "famous" blogger, but promised Zach I would only edit his posts minimally.  He has an different sense of how blogs and blog reading works.  I have sent emails to a few that have high readership knowing that they are very, very busy, but he believes that every email and comment is read, so he was a bit disappointed that one of my favorites to read (and it's a daily thing so it's a part of our family) has no idea that we exist.  (But isn't that life-grin!)

Thank you for all your encouraging words and also for your donations.  We will update in a week when we have our route and time set.
